Did
you see me today
I
was that shadow behind you quietly doing manual labor well my body
fell apart
My
anguish and suffering silent
I
didn't complain, you didn't acknowledge
My
work you credited with a smart smack on the back
Unknowingly
breaking bones, severing an artery
Your
gratitude made me bleed out
As
I turned ashed white recognition registered in your eyes
Bit
too late, my soul slipped away and my body died
