nursing
an empty bottle 'cept a worm
a
fat plump pickled grub
swilled
back, bit it in two
a
bitter sweet between my teeth
my
eyes watered
a
burning sensation from the sun
skin
conditioned for the night
a
terror to the terrified
sucked
jelly from a punctured eye
jugular
ripped and shred
the
world I live in is covered in red
and
they say I'm sick
the
diner was empty 'cept for the staff
darkness
caused street lamps to come on
the
hunger in me became a fever
I
ate out that night
