I
no longer have the energy to fight
you
thought my writing was cookie cutter made
happy
you won, I stopped, I don't write
you
first took a nibble then a great big bite
my
convictions started to sway
I
no longer have the energy to fight
I've
been silent, lips closed tight
my
work will no longer be on display
happy
you won, I stopped, I don't write
dogging
my work like you had some insight
making
me feel betrayed
I
no longer have the energy to fight
I
don't believe things are black and white
but
this thing here wasn't okay
happy
you won, I stopped, I don't write
I
wont say what I'd like because I'm too polite
but
what comes around goes around I'm afraid
I
no longer have the energy to fight
happy
you won, I stopped, I don't write
