You set Me Free

that day you found me and then set me free

I was surprised you had the key

for releasing me I gave you my heart

something you hoped I'd do right from the start

I owed you so how could I disagree

years of being surrounded by debrie

there was so much beauty for me to see

you then exposed me to natures fine art

that day you found me

and then suddenly it all fell apart

I felt it was time for me to depart

our love went through a change you must agree

that you and I are no longer a we

I wish now that you would have let me be

that day you found me
