I
wanted to say I love you
but
nothing came out of my mouth
so
I left you for a puppy
never
before did I stutter
or
have sudden laryngitis
'til
I went to say I love you
I
had a speech that was planned out
the
words were all inside my head
but
nothing came out of my mouth
just
your voice caused trepidation
I
needed some way to calm down
so
I left you for a puppy
a
polite way of saying
we're
through
