behind dreams

the nightmares deliver the dreams
some are mild, some are extreme
some dreams give pleasure, some insight
lets not forget the ones that fright

racing along on the moon beams
the nightmares deliver the dreams
which they have done for many moons
as it is written here in ruins

over land, sea and through the sky

in cover of night they arrive
the nightmares deliver the dreams
covering more ground working in teams

stallions these fabulous creatures
great beast with all the best features
most think it's the sand man, not me
the nightmares deliver the dreams
