lovers reflection

we were like twins in body and soul
everything I did you would do to
are you my reflection or am I yours
sometimes I don't question but blindly follow

other times I stand firm, take a breath and swallow
reaching for you I fell with a groan
thought you’d catch me, I should have known

you're and audio masterpiece to the deaf
a replica of who I am, ones right, ones left
ask who's who and neither will confess
our hearts intertwined, heaven blessed
a simple distinctions will tell us apart

just use your brain, think, be smart
or cheat by remember who has what for ink
