heavy
intoxicating air
drew
me to where he was laying
a
body decomposing, dead
still
I carried him up to bed
wish
he was joking, just playing
he's
gone, completely unaware
I
laid him down with tender care
this
can't be real, I kept saying
I
tucked him in, kissing his head
I
wont live without him I said
guaranteed
I wont be staying
that's
a promise I'll keep I swear
slicing
both wrist, suddenly free
my
final thought, just you and me
